Honey is sunshine in a jar say the poets, it is a sign of God says Prophet Mohammed and it can be used as a medicine which has been known for its beneficial properties since time immemorial. Honey is also used in cooking to enrich the qualities of a number of dishes.
Pure, genuine honey is a high-quality nutrient. The highest standards for both the product itself and adequate ways of keeping bees are set by the German associations of organic agriculture such as Bioland. Dispensing with medication and practices which have an adverse effect on the bees’ well-being, choosing locations for the bee colonies in forests and gardens that are as unaffected as possible by agricultural activities, and regular control procedures carried out by independent organic production inspection authorities all guarantee top-quality honey. As a member of Bioland, Honighäuschen apiary too is subject to these controls and requirements. We deliver our honey to you. We – that is the bees and the beekeeper. Both work together. I attach great importance to the well-being of my bees, for they are my partners, and not just business partners either. My bees have been part of the family since 1982. But bees are extremely important to you too, for their pollination activities preserve the environment and provide the basis for our food supply. Only in areas where apiarists keep bees can the bees ensure pollination.
This is the web shop of Bioland apiary
Honighäuschen offering you a variety of honey types from the Bonn
region and, based on hikes, from other parts of Germany as well.
I
have been fascinated with bees for almost 30 years now, and I have
turned my hobby into a career. Sometimes a calling becomes a
profession, and this is how it was in my case.
Our range of
honey and beeswax candles produced by Honighäuschen apiary has been
specially translated for our customers in the Arabic world. We
deliver to all Arabic and European countries with the exception of
Switzerland.
Once a year, on the occasion of the countrywide
day of apiaries in Germany taking place on the first weekend in July,
Honighäuschen opens its doors to the public so that visitors can
enter the world of bees.
If you would like more information on
my organically certified apiary, bees, wasps and hornets or
beekeeping in general, please visit the web pages of Bioland
apiary Honighäuschen.
In
addition, I will be more than happy to personally answer any
questions you may have.
Yours, Klaus Maresch
